Thinking about interiors vs exteriors, this piece aimed to inspire dialogue on how external embellishment are seen as a necessary characteristics in todays society whereas the interior of people is often overlooked. Hence, by choosing make the interior of the piece more alluring – as well as semi-concealed by the lid of the tin being re-attached – the work asks us to re-examine what kind of embellishments we value.
